About Me

 
 

Abby grew up dancing outside of Baltimore, Maryland, training in ballet, tap, jazz, and contemporary. Her undergraduate degree began at Point Park Conservatory for the Performing Arts. She later transferred to Towson University, where she graduated Cum Laude with a BFA in Dance Performance, and a BS in Deaf Studies. She has also received extensive training in both New York City and Chicago.

Upon graduation, she joined contemporary dance company Deviated Theatre. They toured, Creature, an original dance opera, in the Baltimore/DC area, as well as New York City for the Breaking Glass Festival. Abby relocated to Minneapolis in 2014, where she has been a company member of hip-hop/contemporary dance company Shapeshift, and contemporary dance company Crash Dance Productions. Most recently, she has been seen on The Ordway stage in St. Paul, MN, in productions such as Disney’s Beauty and The Beast, West Side Story, In The Heights,Mamma Mia, and Irving Berlin’s White Christmas, as well as on the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre stage in Footloose and Prom. Abby is a proud member of Actor’s Equity Association. She is also a Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance.
